1 - One tough lower body workout with Trainer yesterday. We have several new pieces of new equipment in the gym and I learned how to use all.of.it
2 - Two sore legs due to #1 above and #7 below. Yeah, so maybe not the brightest idea to focus on new lower body exercies with the Trainer the day before my longish run. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.
3 - Three weeks to go before Duke City. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.
4 - Four quick & easy blankets made for Project Linus this weekend so far. See www.projectlinus.org if you don't know what this is all about. I'll do two more tomorrow and turn them in on Monday.
5 - Five cucumbers sliced for Gurken Salat to take to Oktoberfest party this evening. Yummmmy
6 - Monday is the end of the Sixth week of school for my kids. Can you believe that?!? Six weeks of this school year already over...
7 - Seven mile run this morning. Not pretty. But got it done.
I love tough workouts, but not before a longish run... I'm sure you could add a few more "ows"
ReplyDeleteWay to go! You got it all done!
Love the 1 through 7.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the Oktoberfest bash!
Wow! You've been busy! I can't' believe October is almost here and we have already been in school for a month... 8 more to go! :)
ReplyDeleteWow what a ton of stuff you accomplished. I think you will kick bootie at the Duke City HM!!
ReplyDeleteProject Linus is AWESOME! What a great thing to contribute to. (It was one of my favorite things we were a part of at the knit shop.) Super job on 1 & 7!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Linus Project, what a great idea. My son carries a "blankie" around and we call him Linus sometimes. This makes me wish I could sew or knit.
ReplyDeleteI'm off for a killer training session tomorrow and will feel your pain.
Good Lord! It's October practically! Where does the time go.
Ooh, long run after a hard training session. OUCH!
ReplyDeleteThe blankets are too cool! What a fun project to be part of.
MCM Mama
great list! gratz on the 7 miler
ReplyDeletesounds like some great workouts! You're doing great, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy little girl, aren't you? That's good! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd a partridge in a pear tree!
ReplyDelete7 miles is still 7 miles - good work!
ReplyDeleteCucumber salad sounds delish too.
it sounds as though all the struggle and scramble is coming together this week! Yay!
ReplyDeleteHahah, love the format!
ReplyDeleteHave totally done a long run after being killed my trainer the day before. I swear you warm up though, it just means you will just be even sorer afterwords I find.
My kiddo is so attached to his sleepsacks (one he wears and one he holds onto while sleeping) that I also call him Linus. I can just see him still carrying it when he's 10.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good weekend to me sister. Hope the rest of it went well.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
Sounds like a great and productive weekend!
ReplyDeleteAll kinds of good stuff there :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat 7!
ReplyDeleteBTW, after I saw your blankets on FB I looked into my local project Linus and they are having a blanket day on the 17th. So, I'm setting something up w/my moms group to participate. We're going to make blankets another time, too, because I can't make it on the 17th.
Anyway, what a great organization. Thanks for sharing -- I didn't know about it before!
Yes, new exercises hurt. Often like discovering muscles you never had. Good job on your 7!
