Like a revolving door

I'm OUT - no Socorro Triathlon for me this weekend. The CT scan stuff (drinking the contrast material and being injected with iodine) made me sick and dehydrated. Plus I still have the pain. I contacted the race director and my entry has been forwarded to next year's race. Yes, I'm disappointed, and in fact, I don't want to talk about it anymore. Time to move on and look forward.

I'm IN - just signed up for Elephant Man, the oly at the end of September.

  8. Thank you for your comment...I have been doing 2 a days twice a week to fit it all in. I think I am going to scale back though. I appreciate the tip, I was starting to realize I was doing too much. Here is what I was doing:

    M-Swim-run
    T-off
    W-Swim-run
    Th-off
    F-bike
    S-long run
    Su-long bike

I don't know, I don't want to miss anything. LOL But the result is my short runs are really suffering on M-W.

  9. You know I know how you feel! But I do know you won't feel like doing anything this soon. Hopefully the end of September will work out! When God closes a door, a window opens, or something like that! I'm going through the same thing right now. I am hoping all of this (for you and me) is a blessing in disguise.
