My body hates me!!
My skeletal frame is built like an upside down triangle. Wider shoulder, narrow hips. This is NOT how a woman is supposed to be built. I've very happy that my daugther inherited some other woman's frame. Her proportions looks good. Mine are just wrong. I have no womanly curves. This is not to say that my body is totally devoid of curves, but let me assure you, they aren't womanly.
I carry my weight in the mid-section. I guess that makes me "thick in the middle". It's really hard to find clothes that fit when you are 42yrs old, shaped like an upside down triangle that's bulging in the middle. Clothing manufacturers expect women to have hips. And those that don't are supposed to have skinny waists. I don't fit in either of those scenarios. Nothing fits.
I've gained 8 lbs in the past two months. I gave up ice cream a few weeks ago and STILL gained another lb after that. Ugggh.
My bike jersey (to be unveiled) arrived and I'm thinking up trading up from a MEDIUM to a LARGE because I'm thick in the middle and it's tight. Sigh.
I wanted to order a hydration belt of some sort and needed to measure my waist/hips to figure out the size. Either my measuring tape shrunk in the wash, or I'm getting even THICKER in the middle. I'm not ordering this or any other clothing item until I lose some weight!!
