The only answer I can give you that seems to work for me is to do more running (which right now I am NOT doing). That always seems to keep the weight off and help with the stomach bulging. I had gotten to where I could do 5 days in a row of easy to moderately hard 30 min. runs and was finding the most improvement doing batch running like that. Mixed in with the biking of course.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-91720610647688607562007-07-25T00:43:00.000-07:002007-07-25T00:43:00.000-07:00Never let the sizing of athletic stuff get you dow...Never let the sizing of athletic stuff get you down...my HRM strap is M-XL, and I didn't like seeing an XL anything!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-66526775986176729112007-07-25T03:32:00.000-07:002007-07-25T03:32:00.000-07:00Broad shoulders thats the mark of a swimmer, so do...Broad shoulders thats the mark of a swimmer, so don't fret about it..

Also all that spandex/cycling gear is always small, european sizes, always helps to get one size larger unelss you like tight clothes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-10127781106635245492007-07-25T03:51:00.000-07:002007-07-25T03:51:00.000-07:00GUH!!!! I've got more curves than I'd like, plenty of hips, and my problem is that while women's clothes fit me women's athletic gear does NOT. Athletic women are not supposed to have a butt like mine. Yet, despite my hips, waist, and butt, here I am: doing athletic stuff, often in XL despite being a size 10/12, just so I can breathe. I blame men. It's probably not their fault, but I have to blame somebody...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-64241260068777957312007-07-26T08:17:00.000-07:002007-07-26T08:17:00.000-07:00OK-read my blog-I feel your pain!!:)OK-read my blog-I feel your pain!!
:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-70558532094756411072007-07-26T09:15:00.000-07:002007-07-26T09:15:00.000-07:00argh. although, i am here to attest that ALL bike...argh. although, i am here to attest that ALL bike jerseys fit strangely. (Presently my hips are 14" bigger than my waist (instead of the "perfect" 10" and my 2 thighs together are 2 inches bigger than that!) Anything that fits below is HUGE in the waist and usually taking it in doesn't work because the proportions are all wrong. I have very narrow sloping shoulders too, so most tops just sag. It's not our fault - we KNOW that in our heads, it's the clothing designers' fault for using one fit model for all clothes for all women, not a variety. A few stores have tried to address that over the years but it's not profitable for them, I guess!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
