Steps in the Right Direction

They say that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

I'm going to start looking forward just a few steps at a time in the short term to make sure I'm headed in the right direction. Then I'll start looking a little farther forward.

Plan for the weekdays this week: Running Mon/Wed/Fri - on treadmill if not outside - no excuses! Strength at the gym Tue/Thu.

I'll worry about the weekend when it gets closer.

Todays' run is in the books.

Note to self: See, that wasn't so bad, now was it?!?!

  1. Sounds like a great plan to me, Lisa. Baby steps, baby steps, bay steps ;-)

  2. Better to be making steps forward rather than sitting on the couch. Although, the couch is rather comfortable after a few steps are taken in the form of exercise. The guilt is a little less as well.

  15. A step is better than no steps at all.. Baby steps then you look back at the end of the week and see how far you have gone, then repeat if necessary.
