Highlights from the Weekend

* Finished my first ever knitting project - a hat - and I wore it running on Saturday. Yay me! I'll try to get a decent photo, the one I have really didn't turn out too well.

* My easy run Saturday turned out to be at a ~10:30 pace. That's really good for me for an easy run. Might be because I had a running companion which made the run more enjoyable.

* Got about 10-12 inches done on daughter's scarf (2nd knitting project) yesterday.

* I've learned to enjoy the Ultimate Stretch Yoga DVD (my least favorite). It seems I just need to be in the right mood for that one.

* I had another Chiropractor appt on Friday and I must say that I feel fantastic.

* My abs are sore today in a good way.

* I paid attention to about two minutes of the Superbowl - the last minute of the first half, and the last minute of the game. Turns out those were some of the best moments to watch!

* My blog migration went smoothly.

* Son went to a high school dance on Saturday night (his second). I survived.

* My Dance the Chakras Yoga DVD arrived; looking forward to testing it out tomorrow

  6. What is it with so many people mentioning the Superbowl? Something that seems completely lost on me? Watched the tennis though ...

  7. Sounds great all around! I have a cute hat pattern I've wanted to knit for my kids, but at this rate, I'm never going to finish.

  8. Oooh, dancing the chakras - sounds like fun!
The superbowl was televised here too, while I was on my trainer so I had a quick look - then realised I find American football utterly incomprehensible!
Photos of the knitting please :)

  12. Sounds like a great weekend! I knitted for a month last year before Christmas to make a bunch of scarfs. No way I was talented enough for a hat!

  13. Woo hoo on the hat!! (As a previous yarn shop owner/knitting instructor, I LOVE it when people make hats first! You can do anything after that.) All the other stuff sounds great too. :-D

  14. Great job on the knitting. I did learn when I was younger but never really made anything worthwhile. I guess I felt obligated to learn since my mom was a knitting whiz--she even knitted all of our Barbie clothes (or sewed them) when we were kids. Imagine making a ski outfit for a Barbie by knitting?? I wish I had held on to all those amazing clothes.

  20. You've been busy! I'm sometimes tempted to learn how to knit, but the last thing I need is another hobby. I'll just live vicariously through you on this one - is that okay? :)
