WEST WINDS BETWEEN 25 AND 40 MPH WITH GUSTS RANGING UP TO 55 MPH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON OVER NORTHEAST AND WEST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST WILL CREATE REDUCED VISIBILITIES AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON.
I was planning on getting in an 8-9 mile run this afternoon, but the weather is definately not cooperating. I'm not a happy camper - the forcast isn't looking much better Saturday or Sunday. Pout.Pout.Pout. :(
Booo that stinks!
ReplyDeleteActually, I noticed TV highlighting your not-swell weather this morning. So sorry. Spring should be more friendly??!!
ReplyDeleteTell me about it! I just went for a 3 mile run and almost got blown away. When I turned a corner and got hit by a huge blast of wind, my heartrate soared way high! It was weird.
ReplyDeleteI hope, hope, hope it calms down for the weekend!!
It's getting pretty windy over here, too. I hope it isn't bad for my trail run tomorrow morning. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an opportunity to get in some dust bowl training ;-)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing today. Yesterday 41, a bit windy but a little sunny .... Today 29, very windy and blowing fluries.
ReplyDeleteI never knew what wind even WAS until I lived in New Mexico. Hope it gets calm again soon.
ReplyDeletesorry about your wind issue
ReplyDeletehope it calms down
Weather doesn't take our training schedules in to consideration.
ReplyDeleteHopefully there will be a slight break in the action and you can get it in. Or you can just be a crazy girl and do it IN the weather. I love the looks I get.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment. You will like my latest entry. :D You are so nice, thank you for your support!
I felt bad for you at first. Then I saw the temp said 65. Now, I still hate you.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, good luck out there!
I'll try and send some sunshine your way. Plenty here ... fingers crossed that spring's not too far off.
ReplyDeleteYikes!! Weathermen sometimes lie though, I hoping that was the case?!?
ReplyDeleteI think we are right in the same weather pattern because our weather was windy on Friday!
