Quick Post of a few Firsts

The little gym that I go to at work had the lights replaced for the first time in over 10 years. It's much brighter in there now, almost too bright. If you compare this photo to previous ones you can probably tell the difference.

I think this is the first time I've posted a photo of me in the shirt Husband made for me last year with my bike silouette on it. Pretty cool, huh?

This morning I went to a Chiropractor for the first time in my life. I've avoided it due to skeptism, but have a few nagging issues and I finally decided to try it out. After x-rays and diagnosis, he determined two spots needed adjustments. The first one startled me a little, but wasn't too bad. The second one provided instant relief. I know it takes a while to reprogram your muscles to keep things inline, but I'm now hopeful for some improvement.

  8. I'm convinced that without my chiro, I wouldn't have made it through my third pregnancy. Wish I could find one here that I trust as much. Glad you got some relief and hope it continues to help! Tell your hubby that he gets extra points for that great shirt!!

  13. That shirt is very cool, and you are looking trim and toned! I've been going to a chiropractor for 10 years now and can definitely say it has helped keep me able to do the things I like doing. Just don't give up on it too soon or spread out your treatments too far. I seriously believe that is what helped me heal faster after my accident.

  21. I was a skeptic about chiros too - until I had to go to one. I try to take care of the muscles so I don't have to, but at least I know it's out there if needed. Hope your back improves! And fun shirt, by the way! :)

  23. That is a cool shirt! Are you hinding your face behind the camera phone on purpose? Trying to be mysterious?

  25. That's funny. I looked at the photo before I read the text and saw that picture on you t-shirt and thought;
    "Oh that looks like a silhouette of lisa from that picture on her blog"
    and then I thought;
    "Oh didn't she mention about her husband getting that done for her? It looks great"
    ... and there you have it! It's funny recognizing and knowing that when we've never actually met!!!

    Good luck with the chiro thing, I've never been brave enough for that!
