I'll admit that it felt a little bit like a train hit me Monday morning when the alarm went off to wake me for work. At that particular moment, I wasn't a fan of Daylight Savings time. I was, however, a bit fan of the snooze button.
Fast forward to this afternoon. It was beautiful outside. High of about 72 degrees, sunny, no wind. Suddenly Daylight Savings time was my friend. Thanks to the extra hour of daylight, I was able to run after work for the first time since October, and it was glorious!
So I guess I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Daylight Savings time. How about you?
I love it and I'm so sad it finishes the week after next :(
ReplyDeleteI'm still mourning my loss of an hrs sleep...
ReplyDeleteIt's a horrible outdated concept. Personally I'd rather be on daylight savings time than off of it, but the transitions twice a year kills me.
ReplyDeletei tried to be smart and went to bed super early on saturday so that i wouldn't feel terrible come sunday & monday. (i was still a bit tired on monday regardless!)
ReplyDeletebut in general i LOVE the time change. i wish we could stay longer days for the entire year!
I find it interesting as we don't have that here in South Africa.
ReplyDeletehate daylight savings time. still haven't recovered.
ReplyDeletelving the weather but hating how tired i am
ReplyDeleteI love DST. I love the daylight! :)
ReplyDeleteThe train is stalled here and keeps hitting me every morning.
ReplyDeleteSince we had to be up at the crack of dawn on that Sunday for a race, my entire internal clock has been off. Some races do that to me, but throw in DST, and I'm all out of sync. Monday was tough, but I'm OK now.
ReplyDelete;)
I love it! Finally I come home after a long commute and it's still daylight. I feel soo much better! :)
