The weather man is being so cruel to me!!
I'm leaving on a business trip tomorrow returning late Wed. Please note the difference between the current weather and the forcasted weather while I'm gone.
Not fair, is it?!?!?
Despite a cold windy start, the first two days of the Month have been okay from a training perspective. I ran 3.5miles on the 1st and then swam yesterday for the first time in weeks. Had been thinking about getting out on my bike today. However, looking at the weather it seems like that would be sooo much more enjoyable tomorrow. But, of course, I can't do it tomorrow because I'm heading to the airport right after church.
So...I'll wait a little longer until it warms up some and then make the decision to either get out on my bike, or head out for 5-6 mile run. If I make nice with the weather man, maybe he'll give me some ejoyable cycling conditions when I get back.
Enjoy your weekend, everyone!!
Nah. Staring cold hard reality in the face! LOL. Wait for it to warm up then dress a little warmer and go for that bike ride! I'll be doing the same thing in about the same temperatures tomorrow. I won't be doing 30+ MPH down the hills. I don't want my lips burned this late in the year!!
ReplyDeleteHave a good trip and hope the weather is nice there :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip! I am sure the nice weather will still be there when you get back!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you are going somewhere warm!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the weather is getting warmer - after all spring is just around the corner.
Have a safe trip. Your weather is still warmer than chi-town.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the weatherman will wait until you get back.
Hey Lisa, I saw an article in a running mag recently that there are now in fact Dog/Owner races out there! So you can run with your pooch with others too... Personally if I tried this with Dad's dog it'd be a disaster but it must work for some!! Anyhow, all the runners were wearing these special harness things so you are indeed hands free. I'll see if I can find the article and get a website for you!!! Here's to March training - may it be a good one for all of us - after all spring is in the air!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI learned last year to have really low expectations of the weekend weather throughout all of winter and spring...
ReplyDeleteThe desert will be here, ready for spring, when you get back. Forget the weathermen. They are wrong most of the time, anyhow.
ReplyDeleteIf it mkaes u feel better..it is 0 here...
