What's Next?

It's a good question, actually. Right now I honestly don't know.

The only thing definately on my schedule is a sprint triathlon in August. There's another one in September that I'd like to sign up for (and better hurry before they sell out). Nothing else is really inspiring me at the moment.

I guess that's okay. But without something out there to work toward, my motivation will likely wane over the next few weeks. I need try to find something interesting to do.

Oh, and the century ride had event photographers. I found two photos of husband, one of me, and one of us together. Please do me a favor and look at the one of us together . I need your help deciding if I should order this one.

* Pros - We're riding together, we're in process of passing someone, the look on my face captures how I felt the whole time (determined).

* Cons - I appear to have no neck, my hair looks stupid, event photos are pricey.

  5. I'd be more apt to get it I'd I could crop out the othher guy, some photo services let you do that. You know that you passed him - I think it's a nice picture of the 2 of you racing together.

  6. Hmm...I've never ordered an event photo, but I think this one is special. You and your husband are together and it's a good photo of both of you. (Hey, nobody has a neck from that angle!)

I say order it. I also have a feeling just knowing your blog personality you wouldn't feel right about taking it and photoshopping. ;)

  7. It's a great pic because you're both in it, never know if another shot like that will come again, but usually those sites have them up for a long time, so no need to rush to get. I was on the fence about my 30k race pic... waited a few days, then decided to buy it. Good luck with your decision :)

  8. I like the pic. When you are hunkered down on the bike, grinding away, this is what you get :-)

  9. I would definitely buy the photo. It's a great shot of the two of you.

Get something on your calendar. You don't want to lose your motivation.

  12. I have to have a number of races scheduled out in the future or else my training really wanders around and I don't run very well. It's pretty normal for me to have all of my races scheduled more than six months in advance. Right now, my race calendar is set until the end of January 2010. If I don't, I just don't train well.

  13. I think it's a great photo of you two. That said, I don't order event photos unless we both really like the photo and want it framed. It hasn't happened yet ...

  14. That's a great picture! It may be worth the cost for that one.

I'm looking forward to reading what you plan to do next! I need that motivation, also.

  15. I'd get the picture. Years from now you'll enjoy the picture that commemorates a good memory more than you'll miss a few bucks.

Hope you find the inspiration you're looking for.
