* It is what it is. My dad's death took a much larger toll on me emotionally and physically than I had expected. I'm feeling better now.

* Enjoy life - "Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present"
* Finish strong and uninjured at Duke City.

I've been told by several coaches and have also read in books that it is not wise to push your body to the limit in training when you have other outside stresses, such as work, moving house, getting divorced ... or loosing a loved one. You did well! Now good luck for Duke City. You'll rock it!
