Bike and Sneeze

Woke up this morning sniffling and sneezing and my throat is scratchy. Drat! It seems I've caught a cold. That didn't stop us from our morning bike ride, although I wasn't breaking any speed records today. We only managed to cover 39miles in the time it took us to go 45miles on Labor Day. Oh well. Now, I wish I could figure out a way to strap a box of tissues to my bike...

  1. We're on the same page...I did 39 miles today too, at a slower-than-usual pace. I was telling the hubby how bad my allergies were when I got back. It was a bit windy, but I didn't get out the door until 10:30.

Hope the cold gets better. It must be going around. Our boys have one, too.

  2. Must be the weather change? I had this a couple of weeks ago too and deal with the running/dripping nose every day. If you wear gloves when you ride, you can just use them for a kleenex.

  3. Most women I see on the bike, don't use tissues, They just let it rip.. Just have to figure out the wind direction if you happen to be back there..

Just go right, since people always pass left...

  4. Oh no! I bet it was the mouse's fault.
39 miles is better than sitting on your behind eating chocolate

  6. That's a lot of mileage for a cold. Sometimes I bring a paper towel instead of tissues since I tend to need something more absorbent on a ride...
