What's Wrong with this Picture?

Not exactly the kind of weather that puts a little jingle in your jolly, especially here in the high desert. My fear is that it will rain all day, and we'll end up with icy roads again in the morning. Ick.

I made it into the gym this morning for some treadmill running, knee rehab exercises, core work, & stretching. I was surprised at how many people were there compared to a normal workday morning. Apparently folks were taking advantage of some time off work by getting to the gym. I guess that's a good thing, but it reminds me to expect the new year resolutionists to take over for a little while.

Merry almost-Christmas everyone. Try to stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy time with friends and family. :-)

  2. Are you sure that's not a sheet of ice on your driveway?

Our gym gets crowded this time of year too with the college kids home from school.

  5. I know it's not excactly in the "Christmas Spirit" but I have really grown to HATE the new year's resolutionists who hog the treadmills at the gym. Thank goodness they won't be around long past January 25th or so.

    Merry Christmas, Queenie. :)

  7. "I guess that's a good thing" just about sums up about how I feel about it. Perhaps I put too much gloomy emphasis on the "I guess" though. Merry almost-Christmas!

  19. Have a merry Christmas! You can have some of our snow to make your ice situation a bit prettier. We have over 2 feet, so there's plenty to go around (and we've essentially been stranded for an entire week - so I'm more than happy to see it leave!!!!).
