A triathlon coach here says that 2 weight workouts a week can totally eliminate one run workout, it can be that effective. The hard part is being consistent. Well my Mum and I took our old dogs ashes to her favorite park one Christmas day many years ago. We surreptitiously scattered these in the long grass she loved to snuffle and roll in... only for a gust of wind to blow her back on our legs!!! She was always a mischievous hound and we figured this was her final laugh. Now I'm swimming only once a week (down from twice or more) - I'm sure it's not doing me much good!
