Hi, Cliff!
I read your profile and you sounded so much like me I wondered if we had been seprated at birth, but then I applied my supreme math skills and figured that was impossible. Slow is the new fast.
;-)
Jenny
p.s. - you are already ready for a 10K - it only takes about an hour and I imagine your sprint tri took a lot longer than that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-56131074030184365262006-12-22T07:40:00.000-08:002006-12-22T07:40:00.000-08:00Congratulations on signing up for your first 10k. ...Congratulations on signing up for your first 10k. I did my first one this year and was scared out of my mind but then I realized - crossing the starting line is what success is all about because there are millions of people who never have the guts to even make it that far. Sounds like we've got a bit of the same exercise background. Can't wait to hear how it all turns out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-27409821513015269632006-12-22T09:09:00.000-08:002006-12-22T09:09:00.000-08:00"Triathlon newbie?" Sounded a bit like a contradiction to me, so I went back to your first post in September, when you were in a funk about what you had or had not accommplished. Wish I could claim so much. Just the courage to take on three sports at once, instead of just one, is impressive.

We are almost neighbours :).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-57919511364585386112006-12-22T18:57:00.000-08:002006-12-22T18:57:00.000-08:00I know the fear - I've had it myself. You'll do great - you've been training consistently and once the race starts, all fear will be gone!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2395445623732758167.post-39467145276980675022006-12-23T08:35:00.000-08:002006-12-23T08:35:00.000-08:00They say a liitle bit of fear is healthy. You will do great, just have a plan and it will fall into place.

Just remember after 3rd place everybody gets the same thing. Prize wise.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
